how to apply for a puppy

We will not ask you to fill out an application for one of our babies.

We will ask you to join our instagram family (@unicorn_frenchies) so we can get to know one another. We will ask that you also join our waiting list by providing us with a deposit of $500 by etransfer to unicornfrenchbulldogs@gmail.com. This deposit will hold a spot for you on our list.

Once the time comes for you to choose a pup, which is usually when the litter is about 5-6 weeks old we will go down our waiting list. When you have chosen a puppy we then make arrangements for a phone interview and possibly a 'facetime' call. This will allow you to SEE our Frenchies in our home. Our puppies are very precious to us so we want to get to know you and your family. Here are some of the questions we will ask during the phone interview.

Your name / address and number of family members.

Your reason for wanting to own a Frenchie.

If you live in a house with a yard.

What you know about the breed and if you have ever owned a Frenchie in the past.

Will you take out pet insurance on your new puppy?

We want to make sure that your family and your fur baby are a good fit.

We get so many inquiries that we want to make sure that you are sure you want a Frenchie as a family member in your home. We ask that you follow us on Instagram because that is where we post most of our updates. You will get to know us this way and see how we raise our dogs in a loving environment.

All our puppies that go to pet homes are the same price of $6,000. We do not 'tier price' for exotic colours, fluffy Frenchies or hairless Frenchies because the phenotype has no co-relation to a healthier pup. We want you to have a healthy pup above all else.

Note:  Unfortunately, veterinary pricing has risen substantially.  It now costs from $3700-$6000 for a C-section.  This is the reason our pups are now $6,000 each.

We, as breeders reserve the right to revoke approval at anytime  during the adoption process should the prospective purchaser be deemed by the breeder to be unfit to own a Unicorn French Bulldog.

NOTE REGARDING DEPOSIT

If you change your mind about wanting one of our pups, we will return your deposit in full.  However, if you are on the list and we offer you a pup from any litter and you decline and decide to wait for another litter, you will have forfeited your right to have your deposit refunded should you change your mind at any point thereafter.
